"I had the chance to take part in a Camp Freddy gig down in L.A. last weekend at the House of Blues. Camp Freddy is a sort of rock-and-roll collective that gets together once in a while to play some gig or another (from fundraisers to straight-up "money gigs" for something like the X-Games or Nintendo). This time, Camp Freddy featured Steve Jones (Pistols), Justin Hawkins (the Darkness), Ace Fuckin' Frehley, Steve Stevens, and yes, Ozzy Osbourne. The shit was KILLER."

To celebrate The Sunflower Jam 2009, Planet Rock will be auctioning off a unique Epiphone Les Paul Special II signed by the some of the greatest names in rock. With 39 signatures in total including Justin Hawkins, along with names such as Meat Loaf, Jon Lord, Duff McKagan, Vince Neil and Phil Collen, this is one of the most autographed guitars to go to auction.

Cradle of Filth Frontman Dani mentions hanging out with Hot Leg during a festival appearence in Spain:

"Firstly, there was the weekend at the end of June that found the band driving all the way down to the North of Spain to play the Kobetasonik festival in Bilbao, strangely enough in the drizzle again. Here we hooked up with bands like Gojira, Crucified Barbara, Hot Leg (Justin Hawkins is a really decent bloke in the flesh), Machine Head, Devil Driver, Cathedral and Marilyn Manson to name but a few, having received a police escort into the show for getting lost, with no real band casualties other than a totally inebriated Charles and a free bar that came under thorough attack from our unholy shambling entourage."
