Ents 24 club listing - not Hot Leg
You may have seen a listing on Ents24 stating Hot Leg as playing at the Nika Club Night in the Lock Tavern, Camden, London - However this was a mistake and Hot Leg were not playing... infact it was 'Hot Feet'!

Five years ago, Justin Hawkins was fronting the U.K.'s biggest band -- until he succumbed to the very cliches the Darkness were lampooning. Now, as he tries to kick-start Hot Leg, he's hauling his own gear, sleeping on floors, and trying not to make the same mistakes twice.

Also, SPIN reviewed Red Light Fever, which can be read here: www.spin.com/reviews/hot-leg-red-light-fever-barbecue-rock

Scans of the magazine are also in Hot Leg's scrapbook album on their official Myspace page.

Times online - Telstar
Equal parts visionary and psychopath, Joe Meek is British pop’s darkest secret. Meek was many things - he revolutionised the way pop sounded at the start of the 1960s, composing and producing huge hits - yet his volatile, paranoid nature meant he could only go out with a bang. Literally: on February 3, 1967, he shot his landlady, then himself.

Meek’s eccentric nature meant he championed the likes of Screaming Lord Sutch (an OTT turn by the former Darkness vocalist Justin Hawkins) while rejecting teenage wannabes Rod Stewart and David Bowie.

Shining through Darkness
The Sun has caught up on last week's Brighton gig....

"THERE could be light at the end of the tunnel for THE DARKNESS.
JUSTIN HAWKINS and his estranged bandmate and brother DAN have kissed and made up after years of silence.
The big reconciliation was at Brighton’s Ocean Room, where Justin was performing with new band HOT LEG.

A source said: “Justin said to the crowd, ‘I know Dan is here’. There was no answer so he said ‘If your name is not Dan sit down’ and everyone did - leaving Dan standing.
“We were really shocked when Dan got up on stage and picked up a guitar.”
The siblings smashed out Darkness hit I Believe In A Thing Called Love.

Frontman Justin quit in 2006 and the lads have not played together since.

I hope a reunion is on the cards."
